Day 24 – Gentle Consciousness Meditation 2 – another way of connecting with you
So like yesterday I invite you to find a quiet space, get yourself comfortable, sitting or lying down and take a deep breath in.
And then sigh it away knowing that if you’re breathing then there is more right with you than is wrong with you.
Close your eyes and we will begin the process of going outside your body in all directions. Where are you? Everywhere you look.
Continue to take deep slow breaths as you become aware of your body in the chair or on the bed – the back of your head, your shoulders, your chest, your spine, your hips, your buttocks, your legs, your feet, your arms, your hands, the whole of you.
Become aware of the edges of you .and now expand your energy away from the edges of your physical body to fill the room that you are in – above you, below you, in front of you, behind you, to the left of you and to the right of you. You are everywhere in this moment. And breath.
Expand that energy 10 miles outside of the room that you are in, beyond the chair that your physical body is sat in or the bed or floor that you are lying on.
On now, further – 100 miles – expand a 1000 miles – expand 10,000 miles – above you, below you, front of you, back of you, right of you, and to the left of you. And breath. You are everywhere in this moment.
Expand you the being, 100,000 miles in all directions, or as far out as you can ad wish to go.
Become aware of the stress, the depression, the unhappiness, the sadness, the anger – all the things people choose in this reality, and just know that this is a choice.
If you can choose these things then you can also choose to let go of them. In this reality they appear so solid and so real that we don’t get that letting go is a possibility.
You heard everything that was in other people’s heads since the day you were born. You heard about how terrible everything was and what was going to happen. This is not how it has to be and you don’t have to buy that point of view.
You have expanded out your energy into the universe and you are aware of other people’s thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
Now look back at you and look at everywhere in your body you have made other people’s thoughts, feelings and emotions real and true in your body.
As if by magic, in your hand you have a cosmic screwdriver. It doesn’t matter which hand.
Now looking at you body find that one molecule that is keeping the anger, etc., in existence and using your magical cosmic screwdriver turn that one molecule.
When you turn the polarity of the one molecule that’s stuck, the sensation releases. You turn that one molecule and it starts to undo and then all things begin to move. Turn the molecule for as long as this molecule requires this. Ask this molecule to turn into something greater, something that brings more ease to you and your body.
What would it take for you to have the willingness to commune with the molecular structure that is you, as if by magic?
For one last time in this magical reflection look back at your body and check if there is a another molecule ready to be turned and take your magical cosmic screwdriver and turn it.
This form of reflection/meditation is available to you at any time with any area of your life. Take a deep breath in and sigh your breath away.
Bring yourself back to your body and once again become aware of you and your physical presence in your chair or on your bed. gently open your eyes.
